Deborah A. Dinan earned her nursing and undergraduate degree as a paralegal attending St. Vincent’s College and Sacred Heart University located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. She became a Registered Nurse in 1975, caring for critically ill patients in the Coronary and Intensive Care Units. Ms. Dinan continued her work in many other specialty areas, some of which included Obstetrics/Gynecology, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical, Geriatric, Visiting Nursing and Quality Assurance.

In 1998, while earning her degree as a paralegal, Ms. Dinan decided to apply her clinical skills to the legal field. Fortunately, she was given the opportunity to work at a nationally known, high profile Connecticut law firm representing plaintiffs who suffered severe, permanent and life-altering injuries as a result of medical malpractice. For the past seven years, she has assisted the attorneys with the investigative and discovery phases of cases involving medical malpractice, wrongful death and product liability. Her work has included medical record review, preparation and presentation of case findings, extensive research utilizing a law/medical library including use of Lexis-Nexis, close contact with multiple physician experts and development of case theory.

Ms. Dinan is currently a member of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys.

In June 2005, Ms. Dinan formed her own business known as Legal Medical Resources. It is a privately owned business staffed by well educated, highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurses, Nurse Paralegals and Legal Nurse Consultants.

The primary goal of Legal Medical Resources is to provide a thorough medical record screening, review and analysis of medical records involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability, personal injury and workers' compensation to law firms and insurance companies in a cost-effective and time efficient manner utilizing the vast expertise of our Registered Nurses.

All specialty area Registered Nurses have been thoroughly screened and are currently licensed within the State of Connecticut.
